The Moticam's true talent is showcased by the ability to display live images at 1080p resolution through the HDMI output port. HDMI technology offers a number of key benefits to digital microscopy, including richer color definition, better signal integrity, greater bandwidth capacity, encryption protocols and high-definition video (comes in a rugged metal housing).

Additionally, images can be captured straight to an SD card at full 5.0MP resolution, eliminating the need for a computer, once the camera has been initially configured. Traditional USB output allows for conventional use on PC or MAC platforms with the supplied software, or use the analog video jack straight to a TV monitor.

Flexible Mounting - Included Adapters

The Moticam MC 580 thoughtfully includes 2 eyepiece couplers (30mm & 38mm dia.) which attach the camera to a wide range of microscopes. Simply connect the focusing macro lens to the camera and select the correct eyepiece coupler for your microscope. Slide the combination onto your eyepiece to create your own digital microscopy lab.
